Judge Thinks Obama is Bringing UN Troops to Texas

Story from Think Progress

[Obama] is going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the UN. Okay, what’s going to happen when that happens? I’m thinking worst case scenario here. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. We’re not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations. We’re talking Lexington-Concord take up arms and get rid of the guy.

Now what’s going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He’s going to send in U.N. troops — with the little blue beanies. I don’t want ‘em in Lubbock County. Okay. So I’m going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say ‘you’re not coming in here’. “And the sheriff, I’ve already asked him, I said ‘you gonna back me’ he said, ‘yeah, I’ll back you.’”

Today He Clarified: Obama/UN Invasion "Worst Case Scenario"
Today, Judge Head clarified his remarks, explaining that it is his obligation to prepare for an Obama-led United Nations invasion as Lubbock County, Texas’ Director of Emergency Management:

I’m not saying we’re going to take [newly hired law enforcement officers] and stand in front of the UN. I have to think of, as emergency management director I have to think of worst case scenario, and I used that as an example yesterday. Okay, in my opinion, the worst case scenario politically and financially right now is if Obama and the Senate Democrats stay in power. Okay, because I have some opinions what they’re doing and what they’re trying to do if they stay in power. And I have to prepare for that, okay.

Does that mean I think the UN’s going to come rolling into Lubbock? No. That probably isn’t going to happen. An F-5 tornado probably is not going to come into Lubbock. I’ve got to prepare for it, though.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"County Judge" is not primarily a judicial office. The office is effectively the county executive. So rather than "A Lubbock County judge. . ." your copy should read: "The Lubbock County Judge. . ." What you have implies he is elected to a statutory County-Court-at-Law bench which hears misdemeanor cases; when, in fact, a majority of Lubbock County voters have chosen this moron to run their county government.
This isn't funny. I feel very sorry for his family and for all Lubbock County employees and residents. He reminds me of Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper (George C. Scott's character in Dr. Strangelove) There is no way to be rational with paranoid, delusional people; he should be relieved of duty.
~ comment by Danny J. on the Texas Tribune
One theory I've heard espoused is that this is all a ruse to make the tax more palatable. But really--who would choose to sound this ignorant in public?
~ comment by Susan B. on the Texas Tribune
This sounds a lot like he's threatening the President. Perhaps the Secret Service should have a chat with him.
~ comment by Joy M. on the Texas Tribune
There is only one way to stop the coming armageddon: a 1.7 cent tax increase.
~ comment by Austin K. on the Texas Tribune
He paints an imaginary dystopian scenario of Lubbock, Texas as Tiananmen Square with himself, the Judge Hero, standing in front of the tanks. No, it’s not a satire from The Onion; he really said it and meant it. It gets worse. He used his “flights of fancy” as a justification for a county tax increase; a terrifying scenario sure to frighten even the most lucid thinker into supporting the tax increase. His rationalization was a retread of the tired and trite WMD argument used by the Bush administration in 2002; remember the smoking gun in shape of a mushroom cloud?
Judge Head can protest all he likes, but his words border on sedition, the incitement of discontent or rebellion against a government. In the interview, he spoke of creating a militia to fight against our government. Those were foolish words.
. . . The extreme Right Wing of the Republican Party; the Eagle Forum and John Birch Society members, are poisoning what used to be a group of solid citizens just a few years ago. It’s like a scene from an old movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Crazier than an outhouse Rat.......
~ comment by Robert L. on Think Progress
The Justice Department should review any decisions he has rendered. He should also be forced to get a psych consult if he wants to stay on the bench. He's obviously delusional and paranoid.
Instead, he'll probably get a Facebook page and/or a PayPal account and start taking donations to help him fight the persecution he will shortly start claiming. He will be seen on Fox and heard on Rush and even if he's forced off the bench, he'll segue directly into the right wing media machine and get very, very rich spewing hate.
And that's how evil works.
As a life long Texan, I find this man to be a dinosaur, like most of West Texas he is still fighting the Civil War, and dreams of the good old days when blacks, women, and children were property. Hopefully like most dinosaurs he and his friends are headed down the road of extinction.
I seem to remember that South Carolina said similar things about a president once. I think the president that they complained about was named Abraham Lincoln. The ones who followed through on the threat got their asses kicked and their cities burned. Be careful that you don't issue checks that you can't cash, Judge Head.
By the way, is your middle name "Richard"? Then we could call you "Dick Head". Very apropos, IMHO.
Another GOP terrorist who can't stand a black man in the White House.
I love how conservatives invoke the revolutionary war when threatening civil war. Lexington? Concord? Please! These people think they George Washington, but they're more like Barney Fife!
Warning: The next three are pretty disturbing . . .
I'm going to start naming my bullets. I will not go down without taking as many with me a I possibly can. This judge is a HERO in my mind. How in Heaven's name could so many in this country have been so deluded and STUPID to elect such an obvious incompetent????? All 47% should be lined up and shot for voting the way they did. What they did was tantamount to murdering this nation and all of the rest of us!
Hope for the race war scenario, it won't last 2 days. Remember the bl ack population is only 20% and of that, HALF or better are useless cannon fodder.
WE ALL KNOW IT IS COMING
The Federal Government now controls everything from nuts to desert. Obama and Congress will grab for a Communist takeover before the election. The nation is bankrupt and will not be able to honor its debt. A Communist take over our nation will cancel out all the debt except for China. If the takeover can be done without violence then it will be cheap to implement and historic. We must insure that it will not be cheap but the worst Civil War in history. Keep in mind that the two nations Iraq and Afghanistan do not have Navies or Airforces yet kicked the US Army in the ass and shoved their face in the sand. We are not prepared but we were not prepared at Bunker Hill or Bull Run. The Federal Government has made a big mistake declaring war on the American people. Others who have declared war on the American people are not around anymore.
WHO IS JOHN GALT?
Imagine the sight of a bunch of wingnuts camping out in the streets of Lubbock, Texas, with their gubmint guns, for weeks, waiting for U.N. shock troops to descend on the town, waiting, waiting… Dearest Wonketteers, it doesn’t get much better than that.
