The horse received a tax deduction, so the horse is officially a "job creator" but if the horse had received food stamps or housing assistance, then it would be a an entitled, filthy, hobo victim.

At one point, she appeared to give a snort of exhilarated delight, although, to be fair, it's not easy to say precisely what emotion a huge horse is aiming to convey; it could equally have been a snort of ennui or a snort of frustration at the Obama administration's glee over Mitt's gaffe-spree. Perhaps it was just her way of telling the predominantly British crowd that, like the Romneys, she was just happy to be in the UK.

Ann Romney's horse, Rafalca, competed in the individual dressage at the Olympics today. The horse's rider, USA's Jan Ebeling, got an overall score of 70.23 and is currently in 9th place.
The horse was not expected to medal, and Ann said after the event that she's "thrilled to death" by the performance.

The liberal group MoveOn is putting its anti-Mitt Romney message into his horse’s mouth in a new TV ad released Thursday.
The ad purports to feature Rafalca, the dressage horse co-owned by the Romneys, speaking to the camera about her upkeep.

Romney Claims Dog Ate Tax Returns and Ran Bain Capital for Three Years

“Seamus was more than a dog,” Mr. Romney said, his voice beginning to quaver. “As C.E.O. of Bain, he was a job creator.”

But Mr. Romney’s revelations about his dog’s career in private equity may have raised more questions than it answered, as a spokesperson for People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) questioned the G.O.P. candidate’s latest version of events.
“If we are to believe Mitt Romney, in 2002 while Seamus was supposedly running Bain Capital he would have been at least 140 years old [in dog years],” said PETA’s Carol Foyler. “This shaggy-dog story represents Mitt Romney’s latest act of animal cruelty.”

Minutes after PETA’s response, Mr. Romney released an amended statement, saying that Seamus Romney had served as C.E.O. of Bain “posthumously.”
