Mike Huckabee Compares Obama to Hitler for #IranDeal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As a GOP Presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee has mainly gotten attention this year for his support of the Duggar Family and their show on The Learning Channel, even after it came to light that their oldest son Josh Duggar had molested his younger sisters. Now that the show has finally been cancelled by the network, Huckabee is eager to shake off the taint of that long-time association.
Also, the candidate really, really wants to be on stage at the first Fox News GOP Primary debate, but Donald Trump is sucking up all the air time as well as moving up in the polls.
So to secure himself a place, Uncle Sugar decided to make a tasteless remark about President Obama and the Holocaust. So yeah, he may get into the first tier of the debate, but Huckabee has probably lost the Jewish vote forever, which is fitting because he only supports Israel until they fail so the Rapture can happen and Christians can take over everywhere. And thus we have the hypocrisy of Mike Huckabee and many in the GOP - they are not true friends of Israel in any way.
From NBC:
... Huckabee told Breitbart News on Saturday that the Obama administration's actions on the Iran deal are "naive."
"This president's foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians," he said.
"By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven. This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people," he added.
The Jewish Anti-Defamation League Released a statement:
Whatever one’s views of the nuclear agreement with Iran – and we have been critical of it, noting that there are serious unanswered questions that need to be addressed – comments such as those by Mike Huckabee suggesting the president is leading Israel to another Holocaust are completely out of line and unacceptable.
Israeli military and security officials have repeatedly said the Obama Administration has been as strong as any other American administration in keeping Israel secure. Just a year ago, during the war in Gaza, the president signed off on an additional $223 million for Iron Dome anti-missile weaponry to protect the lives of Israeli civilians.
To hear Mr. Huckabee invoke the Holocaust when America is Israel’s greatest ally and when Israel is a strong nation capable of defending itself is disheartening. The great tragedy of the Holocaust saw the Jews of Europe without allies and without power at the worst possible moment.
There is a serious debate taking place over the next five weeks within Congress over the Iran deal. We have called on all sides, regardless of whether one is liberal or conservative, to conduct that debate responsibly and civilly. That plea should apply to presidential candidates as well.
President Obama, traveling in Kenya, responded today:
...Obama, hitting back at former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s cringeworthy Holocaust-themed remarks about the Iran nuclear deal a day earlier, said the 2016 candidate’s comment were “part of just a general pattern we have seen that would be considered ridiculous if it weren’t so sad.”
“We have robust debates, we look at the facts,'' Obama said in some of his only comments regarding anything the pack of 16 GOP candidates running to replace him have said. “We just don't fling out ad hominem attacks like that because it doesn't help inform the American people.''
“Maybe it’s just an effort to push Mr. Trump out of the headlines,” Obama suggested during a press conference in Ethiopia, where he was asked a question specifically about Huckabee’s assertion that the White House’s Iran nuclear deal was tantamount to marching Israel “to the door of the oven.”
“It's not the kind of leadership that's needed for America right now,'' the President said. “These are leaders in the Republican Party … the American people deserve better. Certainly presidential debates deserve better”...
But the President's comments only led to doubling down by Mr. Huckabee:
From CNN: Huckabee Out-Trumps Trump
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee defended himself Monday after President Barack Obama slammed his comments linking the Iran deal to the Holocaust as "ridiculous" and "sad."
"What's 'ridiculous and sad' is that President Obama does not take Iran's repeated threats seriously. For decades, Iranian leaders have pledged to 'destroy,' 'annihilate,' and 'wipe Israel off the map' with a 'big Holocaust,'" Huckabee said in a statement Monday just hours after Obama spoke. "Never again' will be the policy of my administration and I will stand with our ally Israel to prevent the terrorists in Tehran from achieving their own stated goal of another Holocaust."
Huckabee has continued to capitalize on the moment, with his campaign posting a video to Facebook within hours of Obama's rebuke that earned more than 30,000 views within its 40 minutes online.
When Huckabee was begged to back down by Latino Jew Geraldo Rivera of Fox News, he doubled down even more and started raving about "staring into ovens" while visiting Auschwitz.
From Huffington Post
"Three times I've been to Auschwitz. When I talked about the oven door, I have stood at that oven door. I know exactly what it looks like -- 1.1 million people killed," Huckabee, a 2016 presidential candidate, said in an appearance on Fox News' "The Five."
Geraldo Rivera, one of the show's hosts, pushed back on the comparison.
"I love you. You would be a great president," Rivera said. "You have the temperance. You have the experience. But as a Jew -- and I have to tell you, with people who work in the Anti-Defamation League and relatives on both sides, it was inappropriate. There are some places you cannot go."
#JadeHelm ~ Russians, Anthrax and a Doomsday Plane - Update: Bluebell Ice Cream Trucks
The Summer of Jade Helm Begins
Texans fear #JadeHelm15 Takeover
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And so it begins . . . #JadeHelm15, the military operation that is making heads explode all over the Southwest. I believe the Military may be doing a psy-op on people like Alex Jones and his listeners to bring the real loonies out into the open. It's working!

The Jade Helm 16 Information Facebook has 25,000 followers.
Operation Jade Helm and Beyond has 60,000 followers
Jade Helm 15 Martial Law has 12,000 followers.

And that's only a fraction of the crazy out there.

According to one Facebook, Russia wants to save Texans from the Evil Obama Invasion, and they are working with China to mount their own invasion from the south. No, really! I saw it on the Internet!

More news folks- This is not disinformation.. A portion of the Black Sea fleet is in the Atlantic a couple miles from us waters..the rest is refueling and taking on drinking water near Spain and headed this way.. The Russian "carrier killer" loaded with nuclear weapons is leading the pack with 10 subs and a sub wreckage recovery vessel. And unknown to the main of US citizens, Russian aircraft have been doing recon on the West Coast and Alaska.
This is in direct response to the US/NATO occupation of the Black Sea during Russia's problems with Crimea. Russia is not 100% for the people but it has stated it will back and protect any states deciding to leave the US Obama regime... That is why the Armed Forces haven't been prepping 100% for overtaking US citizens for it's under the idea of Russian naval and China/Mexico coming up from the south to help Texas and move north..
~ Jade Helm 15 Information Facebook

As an American how do we know the people controlling this site are American, and have the best interest of Americans. Are you just Russians and Chinness playing war of the world's on Facebook? If we can't trust our own troops how can we trust a random Facebook page who has all this proof with no proof?
~ Hillbilly B. on Jade Helm 15 Information Facebook

There's also the scary "Doomsday Plane" flying around - that must mean it's Doomsday, right?

Wake Up 'Merica!!!!!!

New World Order! I try to educate people on this all the time but they think I'm crazy. Keep living in your bubbles people. The government tries to dumb us down by feeding the media with focus on racial wars, confederate flag drama, same sex marriage and the obvious technology, new cell phones and "pretty" new electronics you can have. If everyone focuses on all that nonsense, then they are not paying attention to the shady things the government is really up to!! WAKE UP AMERICA!
~ Angie on Jade Helm 15 Information Facebook

It could be the Anthrax spread by spread by evil (Bluebell) Ice Cream Trucks or something. Get dibs on a plastic coffin now!

The Lord gave me a vision of Jade Helm and I saw military vehicles blocking the streets in major cities so that no one can come in or go out. I was wondering why they were blocking the streets and it came in my spirit that it was a quarantine. And that would be caused by some sort of disease outbreak, then I heard the word "Anthrax". So I looked it up and found out it is the best choice for biological warfare because its easy to produce and the spores can survive just about anything. It can survive extreme cold, extreme heat. It can be spread through the air, like from an airplane, through the water and can grow in the dirt on land. Just a small amount can kill thousands of people.
Then I thought about the plastic coffins they are stockpiling in which I heard would most likely be used in the case of disease and pestilence. It explains the ice cream trucks and the incinerator trucks and may even explain why there is no water in my dream and why so many people are saying the water will be poisoned because It will become contaminated. I have read that even boiling the water will not kill the spores. Jade Helm starts July 15th and runs through september 15th so it could be anytime when it is done, however there are some indications that the time for the rapture must be now.
~ Visionary Carole S. on Operation Jade Helm and Beyond

Update: Apparently Evil Forces put the Texas-based Bluebell Ice Cream company out of business to steal their trucks for #JadeHelm.

Or it's just about putting Americans in Concentration Camps - haven't we been saying that for nearly 8 years? It has to come true someday or else . . . we might be . . . you know . . . CRAZY!

The ultimate goal of Jade Helm is to train troops to control American citizens: Rounding them up, putting them in camps, isolating troublemakers, etc.
In this exercise, Americans are the enemy.
Are there still folks who do not see this?
~ T-Bone Texan on Free Republic

It's sad when your called a nut or a conspiracy loony just for demanding transparency from the worst government this country has ever seen.
~ Joel G. on Jade Helm 15 Martial Law Facebook

I have absolutely no trust for our current government....I have wondered if all of this talk about flags, etc. (i.e. Confederate Flag, Confederate Monuments) is just a diversion to keep Jade Helm out of the news.

Body bags, mobile morgues, concrete tombs, body disposal units, CDC warning of epidemic, mass supplies of ammuntion, missiles, missile launchers, military tanks, foreign soldiers. Nah nothing going on here go drink your koolaid.

Above all, Keep Obama Off Mah Land!!!

My only real concern is that if they are traveling through, 'both public and private land,' are they going to do so by cutting the fence on my property? Yes, I realize this article only says public land, but what the govt. has said is both public and private... There just isn't THAT much public land in Texas. Is an Abrams going to roll through my ranch/let all of my exotics out? Who'll pay for the tens of thousands of dollars that they're worth? I know my ranch house gets used as a waypoint (or target maybe) for T-38 training jets, so it's 100% conceivable that it'd be included in this.
~ comment by JWP on the Houston Chronicle

If they maneuver through my private property, you will read about me in the papers the next day.
~ jy8z on Free Republic

Oh, it's just generally due to Obama. Just everything!

So much for the First Amendment under imam Barack Hussein Obama!
. . . cutting off the press seems to me to be a smoke screen for what is really going on behind the scenes. And make no mistake, Barack Hussein Obama knows exactly what he's doing, but like his birth certificate, Social Security number and Selective Service form, he will not allow the truth to come to light. He is, therefore, guilty of hypocrisy when he tells others, "The only people that don't want to disclose the truth, are people with something to hide."
~ Tim Brown on EagleRising.com

Under normal circumstances this would be just another summer military exercise, granted much larger than normal. But these are not normal times with the current occupant of the White House and with the current government we have in Washington D.C. Obama hates America and is doing everything in his power and many things illegally and outside his power to destroy her (see "fundamentally transform"). And unfortunately he is succeeding. So real Americans don't trust Obama any further than they can throw an Army tank. They have a right to be suspicious of this guy and his motives. So the lefties out their can make fun of real Americans all they want, makes no difference to me. But Americans better watch out for this guy. He's not done yet.

Michele Bachmann Thinks Obama is the Anti-Christ and the Devil

 photo Bachmann-FalseProphet.png

Isn't Michele Bachmann retiring from office? Oh wait - she's still here, unfortunately, and preaching that Obama is bringing about the end of the World.

LIke many a wingnut, Bachmann sees President Obama as the evil Anti-Christ, just persecutin' Christians day and night, and hatin' on Israel. And now that he's in cahoots with Iran, he's not only probably Gay and Kenyan, he's going to bring on the End of Days, the Rapture, and the Middle East Apocalypse just because he can. Who knew Presidents had these special powers? Oh wait, he must be THE DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obama is The DEVIL
Like David Puddy on Seinfeld
with Hockey Facepaint
And Bachmann is the Superstitious Priest
Who yells "El Diablo!"

 photo c7718a0d-555d-4314-b761-227282ecdfb1.jpg
 photo Priest-Seinfeld.png

What Bachmann said, Via Raw Story
“If we actually turn our back on Israel as we have seen Barack Obama do today, if that happens then I think we will see a scale and a level of push back in the United States, negative consequences,” Bachmann told Understanding the Times radio host Jan Markell on Sunday. “I don’t know what they are, but I believe that the Bible is true. And believe what the Bible says is that our nation and the people of our nation will reap a whirlwind, and we could see economic disasters, natural disasters.”

The President got some revenge by poking fun at Bachmann during the Washington Correspondent's Dinner:

"Michele Bachmann predicted I would bring about the biblical end of days. Now that's big. ... Lincoln, Washington — they didn't do that."

Of course Bachmann replied as a true "Victimized Christian" only she didn't point the finger directly at the President this time
“The Bible is filled with exciting information about living life today and in the future, both in this life and in the life to come,” Bachmann told WND (World Net Daily). “Any message that brings people closer to God’s wonderful plans for our lives is a good thing.
“God’s word is true and brings freedom and wholeness to all who read it and believe in Him.”

The feud prompted one of Bachmann's wingnut supporters to call Obama a dubious name:

Via RightWingWatch
“Trunews” host Rick Wiles is joining other right-wing pundits in taking offense at President Obama’s joke at the White House Correspondents' Dinner about ex-Rep. Michele Bachmann...
. . . Wiles attacked the “uncircumcised philistine in the White House” along with the “adoring, obedient, subservient, lapdog news reporters” who attended the dinner. (In 1 Samuel, David refers to Goliath as the “uncircumcised philistine” who seeks to “defy the armies of the living God”).
He said that Obama is just as “evil” as King Sennacherib, who went to war with Judah, and similarly is “leading people into sin against God.”

Yeah, talking about a fellow Christian's anatomy shows where this guy's head is at. If you want to see a Pharisee, buddy, scroll up the page to Bachmann's picture, then look in the mirror, pal.

Ragnarok ~ Another Apocalypse Fail for Doomsayers

 photo bfeaa996-ab2b-4427-8bd1-75d0321f8ca2.jpg

From the Daily Mail UK
Danielle Daglan from the Norvik Viking Centre told MailOnline that a number of recent events spoken about in the legends of Ragnarok led them to believe that the end of the world may well be imminent.

. . . Viking tradition also believes that a vast winter will appear before the apocalypse.
‘There are predictions that we are heading into a mini-ice age thanks to a fall in solar flare activity - what is a mini-ice age but several winters rolled into one?’ said Ms Daglan.
Another part of the legend claims that the Midgard Serpent, named Jormungand, shall free itself from its tail and rise up from the ocean.
Ms Dagland points to the two huge fish which appeared on a beach in California last month. The giant oarfish were dead when they washed up on land, and some scientists believe they came ashore to die because they are ‘in distress’.
‘Traditionally, the Viking festival of Jolablot marked the end of the winter - if this winter truly does not end, then that feast may be given over to Ragnarok instead,’ said Ms Dagland. The Jorvik Viking Centre predicted that Ragnarok would occur on 22 February because this is the end of the feast of Jolablot.

Of course, the world didn't end on Saturday. Odin didn't fall, if he ever existed at all. No one ate the sun or the moon. No gods took to the battlefield. We are still faced with all the bad things we were faced with on Friday, situations in which Ukrainians took to fighting instead of Viking gods, and Comcast threatened to eat the Internet instead of celestial bodies. Russia, Uganda and Arizona all still seemed determined to help along some kind of new Holocaust.
~ John Seven, Berkshire Eagle

Heck, Nostradamus, the Mayans, the late Harold Camping, Orson Wells, and even prognosticators of Y2K were all wrong about doomsday.
In short, Ragnarok is merely tongue-in-cheek and a reason for those who celebrate the legend to raise their mugs to. Whether a "Thor 3" includes an Armageddon scenario is anyone's guess. Until then, stock up on water, iodine, and plywood from Home Depot.
While the Norse Vikings won't be running amok and raiding monasteries, on Ragnarok Day 2014, the next best thing to do is stampede the local bars and taverns before a nearby star goes supernova.

Thugs and Raptures - The End Time Visions of Michele Bachmann

 photo c9064ef3-0c28-4695-b6d4-ded35f16b071.jpg

From Right Wing Watch
President Obama waived a ban on arming terrorists in order to allow weapons to go to the Syrian opposition,” Bachmann said. “Your listeners, US taxpayers, are now paying to give arms to terrorists including Al Qaeda.”

Bachmann said that the Al Qaeda funding (which isn’t happening) is a sign of the End Times: “This happened and as of today the United States is willingly, knowingly, intentionally sending arms to terrorists, now what this says to me, I’m a believer in Jesus Christ, as I look at the End Times scripture, this says to me that the leaf is on the fig tree and we are to understand the signs of the times, which is your ministry, we are to understand where we are in God’s end times history.”

“Rather than seeing this as a negative, we need to rejoice, Maranatha Come Lord Jesus, His day is at hand,” Bachmann continued. “When we see up is down and right is called wrong, when this is happening, we were told this; these days would be as the days of Noah.”

 photo 515.jpg

Bachmann Via PoliticusUSA
“I think here we could be on the cusp of seeing some civil disobedience. I’m not saying I want civil disobedience, but people aren’t going to take the thuggery of this president much longer, and that’s part of what we’re trying to do as the people’s voice in the House of Representatives. Give voice to the fact that we see thuggery going on in the White House. We’re not going to take it, we’ve drawn a line in the sand, and we’re telling the president you need to recognize this isn’t just about Article II, the President of the United States. This is also about Article I, the Congress of the United States, and you’ve gotta recognize, you are a co-equal branch of government. You are not a dicatator.”

From Talking Points Memo
Speaking on a conference call with conservative talk show host Rusty Humphries and TheTeaParty.net, Bachmann estimated that she's been lampooned on SNL six or seven times. She assured that she has a "good sense of humor" and never takes the sketches "personally."
The SNL parody reworked the lyrics to Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" around the government shutdown, with Cyrus and cast member Taran Killam impersonating Bachmann and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH). Bachmann said after the show aired, she received calls in her office from people who believed it was her appearing in the video.
“I will tell you, as a 57-year-old woman, it’s been a long time since I’ve been confused for a 20-year-old,” Bachmann said. “I’ve never done twerking in my life and I don’t intend to take it up.”

But now times have and a faction of . . . (the House has) shifted into Bachmann-Gohmert Overdrive and are threatening to burn the whole country down in order to save it at the behest of the Tea Partiers who figure they have enough bullets, bibles, and cans of Vienna sausages to ride out the Fiscal End Times when either Jesus or Sarah Palin returns.

LaPierre's NRA Scary Tales, the Connecticut Effect & Nugent at SOTU

Photobucket

Wayne LaPierre on Daily Caller
Before I tell you how the NRA and our members are going to Stand And Fight politically and in the courts, let’s acknowledge that all over this country, tens of millions of Americans are already preparing to Stand And Fight to protect their families and homes.
These good Americans are prudently getting ready to protect themselves.
. . . A heinous act of mass murder—either by terrorists or by some psychotic who should have been locked up long ago—will be the pretext to unleash a tsunami of Gun Control.

No wonder Americans are buying guns in record numbers right now, while they still can and before their choice about which firearm is right for their family is taken away forever.

After Hurricane Sandy, we saw the hellish world that the gun prohibitionists see as their utopia. Looters ran wild in south Brooklyn. There was no food, water or electricity. And if you wanted to walk several miles to get supplies, you better get back before dark, or you might not get home at all.

. . . President Obama is leading this country to financial ruin, borrowing over a trillion dollars a year for phony “stimulus” spending and other payoffs for his political cronies. Nobody knows if or when the fiscal collapse will come, but if the country is broke, there likely won’t be enough money to pay for police protection. And the American people know it.

Hurricanes. Tornadoes. Riots. Terrorists. Gangs. Lone criminals. These are perils we are sure to face—not just maybe. It’s not paranoia to buy a gun. It’s survival. It’s responsible behavior, and it’s time we encourage law-abiding Americans to do just that.

. . . To preserve the inalienable, individual human right to keep and bear arms—to withstand the siege that is coming—the NRA is building a four-year communications and resistance movement. The enemies of the Second Amendment will be met with unprecedented defiance, commitment and determination. We will Stand And Fight.

. . . Every gun owner should be an active member of the NRA. Every gun owner should be sure that every member of his or her family is an active member.

. . . We will not surrender. We will not appease. We will buy more guns than ever. We will use them for sport and lawful self-defense more than ever. We will grow the NRA more than ever. And we will be prouder than ever to be freedom-loving NRA patriots. And with your help, we will ensure that the Second Amendment remains America’s First Freedom.

We will Stand And Fight.

~ RenegadeFL on Daily Caller

Is the NRA more or less threatening they will shoot and kill Americans who try to enforce laws they disagree with? Hypothetical laws that haven't even been proposed except in their paranoid minds? Because if you are threatening to kill Americans for enforcing the law, you're not exactly helping your cause. In fact, I'd say you're doing a fine job of making the argument for the other side. It's clear your type is incapable of being trusted with firearms. You are a clear threat to our society and should be treated as such.

The Connecticut Effect

We have a strong agenda coming up for next year, but of course a lot of that’s going to be delayed as the “Connecticut Effect” has to go through the process. [...] What’s even more telling is the people who don’t like guns pretty much realize that they can’t do a thing unless they talk to us. After Connecticut I had one of the leading Democrats in the legislature—he was with us most of the time, not all the time—he came to me and said, “Bob, I got all these people in my caucus that really want to ban guns and do all this bad stuff, we gotta give them something. How about we close this gun show loophole? Wouldn’t that be good?” And I said, “no, we’re not going to do that.” And so far, nothing’s happened on that.
~ Bob Welch of the Wisconsin chapter of The National Rifle Association

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The remarks by a NRA lobbyist that the organization's efforts would intensify after the "Connecticut effect" subsides are callous and offensive and should be denounced by the NRA. If the NRA believes that Americans are going to forget what happened two months ago this week, it is sorely mistaken. What the NRA doesn't seem to understand is that the so-called "Connecticut effect" is actually 20 children with their whole lives ahead of them taken from us in a matter of seconds - and six courageous educators who simply came to school to help children and, instead, lost their lives trying to protect them. The unimaginable pain their families and the Newtown community and our nation feel will not wear off anytime soon.
~ Senator Richard Blumental D-Connecticut, in an editorial on Huffington Post
Bob Welch is neither a staff lobbyist nor a contract lobbyist for the National Rifle Association. He does not speak for the NRA.
~ Official NRA Email
While it’s not clear whether Welch, a former Wisconsin state legislator, has ever been paid by the NRA to lobby the state legislature in Wisconsin, it is clear that he and the group he represents has claimed to speak for the NRA in the past.
Welch is a registered lobbyist for Wi-FORCE (Wisconsin Firearm Owners, Ranges, Clubs & Educators, Inc.). The Wi-FORCE website is emblazoned with the words “An NRA Chartered State Association” as well as a newsfeed from the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, the group’s lobbying arm.
~ Talking Points Memo
The response that most of us had to Newtown wasn't the "Connecticut effect"...but humanity. And humanity should be able to outlast the NRA.
~ Will Bunch on Philly.com
The House Gallery in the U.S. Capitol had a distinctively Connecticut cast for President Obama's Tuesday night State of the Union speech.
At least half of the two dozen invited guests who were victims of gun violence are residents of this state. The guests, invited by the president and members of Congress, included the parents of a little girl killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14; a teacher wounded in the same incident; and the head of a liquor distributorship in Manchester where eight employees were shot and killed in 2010.
. . . We could proudly call Tuesday night's display of resolve "the Connecticut effect."
“I’m so excited that someone is going to bring about world peace and save the children,” he quipped.
“And thank God he’s gonna stop global warming, I was starting to get concerned.”
. . . “I’ve heard this predictable flowery feel-good speech of denial before,” Nugent said at one of his many stops in front of the TV cameras.
“It’s a scam, and I think it’s epitomized by his dishonesty in the overt attempt to infringe on our Second Amendment rights” to bear arms.
Nugent was eventually introduced to a reporter from the Voice of America.
The rocker grinned and interrupted: “I’m sorry, I’m the f—ing voice of America!” he boomed.
From Mediaite
...Politico reported that Nugent held court with reporters, telling them that Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI), who was paralyzed in a shooting accident, had “Shit for brains” because he was critical of Nugent’s attendance at the address. He also denied threatening President Obama.
NBC News’ Luke Russert later asked Nugent if he thought that was “an appropriate thing to say about a sitting member of Congress who’s in a wheelchair?”
Nugent, no stranger to feces, responded that it would take “genuine fecal material instead of brain matter” to suggest that he doesn’t “feel sorry for the victims of violent crime.”
Gayle Trotter Says Weak Women Under Attack Need Assault Weapons
Photobucket
From Gayle Trotter, a senior fellow at the conservative Independent Women's Forum
Guns make women safer. Using a firearm with a magazine holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition, a woman would have a fighting chance even against multiple attackers.
Young women are speaking out as to why AR-15 weapons are their weapon of choice. The guns are accurate. They have good handling. They’re light. They’re easy for women to hold.
And most importantly, their appearance. An assault weapon in the hands of a young woman defending her babies in her home becomes a defense weapon, and the peace of mind that a woman has as she’s facing three, four, five violent attackers, intruders in her home, with her children screaming in the background, the peace of mind that she has knowing that she has a scary-looking gun gives her more courage when she’s fighting hardened, violent criminals.
And if we ban these types of assault weapons, you are putting women at a great disadvantage, more so than men, because they do not have the same type of physical strength and opportunity to defend themselves in a hand-to-hand struggle. They’re not criminals, they’re moms, they’re young women. And they’re not used to violence confrontations.
The peace of mind that she has, knowing that she has a scary-looking gun, gives her more courage when she’s fighting hardened, violent criminals. If we ban these types of assault weapons, you are putting these types of women at a great disadvantage–more so than men because they don’t have the same type of physical strength and opportunity to defend themselves in a hand-to-hand struggle.
This is the dumbest thing I've heard so far. Ask Ms. Giffords if she would have had time to whip out a AR-15 when she was attacked. Most gun violence happens in a split second, even the police who are the trained professionals have a hard time reacting.
Looks like someone wants to be the next Sarah Palin! But could you please leave us ladies out of your defense of Second Amendment rights? That is not a gun in our pocket and we are not happy to see you.
~ Jezebel
A young woman in her home defending her babies against three, four, five violent intruders? What kind of gun-nut fantasy is this? When does that ever happen? She might as well say that she's defending her babies from 20 shambling zombies.
If their baby is crying, maybe they should put down the f***ing rifle and pick up the baby.
~ Flying Squid on Raw Story
She forgot to mention the approaching horde of zombies, the black helicopters hovering overhead, and the imminent threat to her bible and her 75-foot American flag, by god!
There she stood, proud and fierce, the wind of history stirring her long, dark hair. Before this intrepid mother, her screaming babies behind her, a hit squad of Black, Arabs, Mexicans and gays pounded at her door, their fangs dripping with an evil hunger to take a census. Momma Gayle Trotter held up her terrifying weapon, and the ravening horde fell back in fear.
And now a word from our sponsor, Big Guns R Us.
A woman with a baby in one hand and and AR-15 in the other, fending off marauding gangs of rapists. Put the comic books down, sweetie.
~ HoratioGalt on Huffington Post
We seem to have a lot of people who believe the zombie apocalypse is actually happening right now. Either that, or they think Red Dawn is a documentary. Good grief. Our gun problem is directly related to the damaged people who are so afraid of life, they can't envision life without a weapon at their side. These are fear based people - lacking self esteem and self confidence. We do not need these people making our legislative decisions. I'm sorry their parents didn't give them enough love - that IS sad. But now they need to take their damaged selves home while the healthy people solve problems.
~ Stanwyck on Huffington Post
Question: Where in the world do these people live that women are having to single handedly repel multiple attackers to defend their home and children? Have we entered the days of Mad Max and the liberal media is just keeping quiet?
The idea that we are just an AR-15 away from totally anarchy is absurd. And sitting in front of the United Stataes Senate and claiming women need fully automatic weapons to repel the advancing hordes makes you look foolish and diminishes the Pro Gun Rights people who aren't nuts.
Happy Apocalypse Eve
And now The Mayan Channel forecast. Thursday: cloudy, chance of showers, high 39. Friday: volcanoes, asteroid strikes, apocalypse.
If it turns out that the Mayans are right and the world is going to end, you know what this means? Lindsay Lohan is a genius. She’s been partying her brains out. She owes taxes. She’s crashing cars. She’s a genius!
Christmas is on Tuesday, provided that the world doesn't end on Friday, which is the end of the Mayan calendar. Some believe there will be massive earthquakes and floods. Others think a planet will collide with the earth. I believe the end of the world will come about in a much stupider way, like Joe Biden spilling a Mountain Dew on the nuclear launch panel.
