#Ferguson Grand Jury Decision Part One ~ No Indictment, but Blame the Witnesses and Social Media

Counting down to the Ferguson Grand Jury Decision at 9 p.m. - and now we have it. At 9:24 the Prosecutor said the Grand Jury chose not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown. Unfortunately, this guy is a total idiot, and his "speech" is a joke, so this is not going to end well. I will have Part Two with video up later.

Wendy Davis -- the 50-year-old Democrat who stood and spoke for 13 hours Tuesday at the Texas Capitol -- went from being a teen mom to graduating from Harvard Law School.

She began working after school at age 14 to help support her single mother and three siblings, according to her campaign website. "By 19, Wendy was a single mother herself, working two jobs to make ends meet in hopes of creating a better life for her young daughter."

She pursued community college, then transferred to Texas Christian University. With the help of scholarships and loans, she graduated first in her class. She went on to graduate with honors from Harvard Law at the age of 33.

She also had a second daughter.

While standing during the filibuster, Davis wore pink running shoes. It was unclear whether the color was chosen because anti-abortion Republican feminists have been referred to as "pink elephants." In 2010, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin spoke of a "stampede of pink elephants," promising a movement of GOP women against abortion.

Axelrod took to the steps of the Massachusetts State House this morning to criticize GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s record as governor, part of a new Democratic line of attack. Flanked by Democratic state officials and a few dozen Obama supporters lining the steps behind, he proclaimed, “Romney economics didn’t work then, and it won’t work now.”

But his audience — dozens of young, pro-Romney activists screaming and shouting just 15 feet away near a small bank of TV cameras – made it difficult to be heard.

The Republican crowd waved signs that read, “Obama Isn’t Working,” “Broken Promises,” and “Axelrod is in Fantasyland.” They boisterously chanted, “We want Mitt,” “Where are the jobs?” and “Solyndra, Solyndra, Solyndra.”
