Hillary was on fire in the South Carolina Primary, getting the majority of Democratic votes in every single county, much to the chagrin of Bernie Sanders and his followers. Originally it was thought that Bernie at least did better with Caucasion folks, but Hillary took away that demographic, too.

And she gave one of the most inspirational speeches of her entire career - must watch! She vowed that "Tomorrow this campaign goes national" as she sails into Super Tuesday in a good place to win big in many states.

Donald Trump can't get over himself, and his followers apparently can't get enough of him either. In spite of hopes from both Dems and Republicans that Trump would get tired of parading around as American's next white hope, he has become the nearly undisputed GOP front runner in the Republican Primary for President of the United States. He won the South Carolina Primary last Tuesday, and easily scooped another win in Nevada.

Meanwhile, little Marco Rubio keeps insisting that his second or third place ties with Ted Cruz are actually wins, and that the longer he stays in the race, the more likely he is to accidentally win something. Or something.

Cruz is just crestfallen that his God has forgotten to anoint him King of Merica yet.

Kasich is hanging on by a slim thread of who-knows-what, and doing embarrassing non-Moderate things like banning funding for Planned Parenthood in Ohio, and saying that women "left the kitchen" to vote for him in SC.

Rebublicans and Fox News are starting to panic at what a train-wreck their Primary Convention is going to be, with low-spending rogue Trump slamming everybody - especially the media - while praising himself to the skies.

No matter how horrible Trump is, they love him. Super Tuesday is looming on March 1st and he's expected to walk away with it. And the world watches in horror.

However, let's remember that this is the Primary Season, and in order to win Trump has had to be vicious towards minorities, immigrants and women (not that he minds) and has even attacked the Pope, and they still vote for him. But the fact is, once we pivot to a contest between Trump and Hillary, he just can't win anymore. He will never get the vote from minority groups, LGBT, women, and mainstream liberals. Oh, some ex-Bernie Libertarians may join him since they have vowed to never vote for Hillary, but the rest of us will just need to show up and vote against him, end of story.

Rachel Dolezal ~ Con-Artist Passing as Black Creates Confusion

Racial identity in America is always a deep subject, but sometimes a story comes along that seems baffling to everyone on several different levels.

For your inspection: Rachel Dolezal, a white woman from Idaho who attended a traditionally black college then proceeded to "invent" an identity for herself as a black woman with no genetic basis in fact. Dolezal became a Black Studies professor and eventually head of the Spokane, Washington, NAACP. Of course she could have fulfilled both those roles as a white woman, but for some reason she chose to tell everyone that she was African American with a black father, had lived in South Africa, and had been the victim of hate crimes - none of which was true.

It's hard not to make Steve Martin and "The Jerk" jokes, and in fact, there have been many all over Twitter. Not to mention Jan Brady Afro jokes.











Dolezal was not born a poor black child and is definitely white. Her also-white parents had adopted African-American children and really had lived in South Africa, but apparently Dolezal never visited them there. Dolezal really did attend Howard University, but it's unclear whether the college viewed her as white, black, or mixed-race. She really is a gifted artist who chooses to paint about the African American experience, but whether her art fans knew she was white is also unclear. The NAACP obviously thought she was black, but they have come out in support of Dolezal so far.

This all came out when Dolezal's parents decided to do some interviews about their daughter. Why they waited years to discuss her strange story isn't clear, but it has hit the news and social media like a bombshell.

"Rachel has chosen to distance herself from the family and be hostile towards us," her mother Ruthanne Dolezal told CNN on Friday. "She doesn't want us to be where she is, she doesn't want to be seen with us because it ruins her image."
"We are her birth parents," Lawrence Dolezal added. "We do not understand why she feels it's necessary to misrepresent her ethnicity."
Speaking from their home in Troy, Montana, the Dolezals told CNN's At This Hour that their daughter's identification as a black woman "started kind of gradually, maybe around 2007 or so."

Dolezal had recently reported hate mail arriving at the Spokane NAACP, but police wondered whether it was authentic. The day after the news came out that Dolezal was "passing as black" the authorities suspended the investigation, because at this point who can believe a word she says?

Dolezal, president of the Spokane branch of the NAACP, had previously filed multiple police reports, claiming to be the victim of threats and hate crimes. KREM-TV is reporting the SPD has halted its investigations into those claims, at least for now.

"If new information comes to light, we can investigate that information," the SPD tweeted June 12.

This past March, Dolezal told police hate mail had been found in the Spokane NAACP chapter's post office box, but police investigators stated the envelope had neither a barcode nor date stamp on the envelope, and no one at the post office was considered to be a suspect. Dolezal reported a second envelope, which included hate mail, was delivered to the NAACP's downtown Spokane office, and police were still investigating until Friday, when they announced they were suspending their probe.

Not Real Father

A local Spokane reporter cornered Dolezal and asked her simple questions about the identity of her father, and whether she was actually black. She seemed speechless and utterly confused, and literally ran away from the reporter.

The reporter first asks Dolezal if her father was able to make it to Spokane this past January for a ribbon cutting event. Dolezal replies that her father did not attend the ceremony because he has bone cancer (which itself might be a lie). The reporter then presents Dolezal with an off-camera photo of her father, which leads to the following exchange:

Reporter: Is that your dad?

Dolezal: Yeah. That’s... that’s my dad.

Reporter: This man right here is your father? Right there?

Dolezal: Do you have a question about that?

Reporter: Yes, ma’am. I was wondering if, uh, your dad really is an African American man?

Dolezal: That’s a very—I mean, I don’t know what you’re implying.

Reporter: Are you African American?

Dolezal: I don’t... I don’t understand the question of—I did tell you that yes that’s my dad. And he was unable to come in January.

Reporter: Are your parents—are they white?

Dolezal: [Walking away] I refuse...

Confederate Guy in NC Celebrates "White History Month"

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Fourth of July parade float is coming under fire after residents believe the message was offensive at a family oriented event.

People lined the streets of Hope Mills Thursday for the community's annual July 4th parade.

A picture snapped by a parade-goer shows a man on a tractor flying a confederate flag and pulling a wagon loaded with watermelons. A sign on the trailer read: "White History Month. Hug WTE PPL."

 Town officials told ABC11 that farmer Donnie Spell applied for and received a parade permit. However, officials said Spell told them he would be pulling an antique tractor with a sign that read: "Watermelons for sale" at a nearby bank parking lot.

When ABC11 went to Spell's home, his gate was locked. A neighbor said he didn't think the man was trying to be vicious or funny.

But people that saw the float thought otherwise.

"This should be over, all that stuff should be over. I don't understand why people are still living like this," Hope Mills resident Suzanne Singletary said.

Town officials said they are considering making changes to the registration process so that this does not happen again.

The float was one of eight entered by Donnie Spell in Thursday's parade, said Kenny Bullock, director of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Spell could not be reached for comment Friday.

Bullock said Friday he had asked a member of Spell's family to take the signs down before the parade started Thursday morning. He said he does not know why they did not comply with the request.

He learned the signs were still on the tractor midway through the parade when people started calling his cell phone, he said.

. . . All floats in town parades are entered through the Parks and Recreation Department, Bullock said. He said the application process includes a brief description of what a float will include. Those signs were not included in Spell's application, he said.

Bullock said Spell has entered tractors in the town's parades, which also includes a Christmas parade, for years.

. . . "I feel like, in my opinion, I feel like there's a time and a place for everything," Bullock said. "Was the parade the place? I don't think so."

Exactly why is this float racist? It does not make any disparaging statements about other races...
Exactly why is it OK to celebrate Black history month, but racist to celebrate White history? That in itself is by definition racist!

I do not find this offensive at all. All other races have remembrance of their history. They are not ridiculed for celebrating their heritage but when white people remotely show how proud they are of their race and their contributions we are called racists. I gurarantee if we were to search through the crowd their were NAACP shirts, Malcolm X shirts, people wearing sagging pants, Sin co De Mayo shirts or flags, but no body bothers to mention those.........I wonder why?

To everyone saying "well theres black history month so whats the difference?" I will tell you the difference. This was done out of hate & malice. This was not done out of "Im a proud white american"!! Its sad and distasteful in this day and age that this type of ignorance and narrow mindedness still exsists. Yes, I am a proud American, North Carolinian, and I am white, but I find this display disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves!!

He enters several tractors for each parade every year and has been doing so for decades. Each of his tractors has a confederate flag painted on the front of it. The watermelons he grows and sells every summer in the parking lot of BB&T. The news agencies need to include this in their story.

Bill O'Reilly on 1950s White America - "Unified" and "Innocent"

This is a comforting bedtime story for Bill O's aging Republican audience:

The death of 70-year-old Annette Funicello yesterday, a red flag to the baby boom generation. Annette gained fame at age 13 as one of the leading members of the iconic Mickey Mouse Club.

. . . Americans have more income today, but the big ticket items like homes take a lot more money. On social issues, in 1959, only five percent of American babies are born out of wedlock, five percent. And abortion very rare. Today, about 41 percent, that's a shocking turn of events. In the 1950s drug use was rare. Although the alcoholism rate is about the same as it is today.

Another interesting category, innocence. In the `50s and `60's, premarital sex and explicit behavior even in the media was kept kind of quiet. As Annette Funicello demonstrated social interaction was kind of innocent.

. . . the `50s were wholesome, especially by today's anything goes standards. American baby boomers tend to glorify their youth, we all know that, even the turbulent late `60s and early `70s. But there was a different attitude in America after World War II. Because we had won a hellacious war, white America was kind of unified and standards of behaviour were very similar. That unification made it easier for society to function.There was respect for teachers, for cops, for clerics. Now that's gone. The mantra today being, "Where is mine?"

O'Reilly was also opining during the segment for the days back when America was "more wholesome." Pardon me if I have a little bit of trouble hearing from someone who is apparently in the middle of a divorce right now and can't control his temper because of it on that topic.
