If the country goes over the fiscal cliff, John Boehner will remain speaker. If Obama gets his wish of raising taxes on the top 2 percent, Boehner will face a staunch opposition come January.
Relinquishing Boehner of the speakership would take only 16 members of Congress to abstain from voting. If Boehner doesn’t receive 218 votes, the House will remain without a speaker much like they did during times of the Civil War.

A dirt clod would be better than Boehner.

Time to remove Boehner from his position; He has been a limp wristed wimp from day one in his position. Appoint him chief republican toilet cleaner, it would more closely align with his abilities.

Go for it. Get rid of the weak-kneed vindictive capitulator. The speaker doesn't legally have to be a member of the House. How about Gingrich or Allen West? Personally when enough of us can get organized well enough to form a viable conservative party to replace the RINO party, I'm in.

The wrong people are resigning from Congress. DeMint should stay-- and Boehner should resign. Let him run the RINO Foundation.

Jim DeMint: It might work a little bit the other way, Rush.

ELMER FUDD had a better plan to catch that wascly wabbit in the carrot patch than these guys have for America's future. PHAROAH BARRY has the current Speaker by the testicles.

. . . conservatives should en masse fire the Republican party publicly and vehemently. Then let it be known that their vote will go to the most principled, constitutionalist on the ticket - even if that person is a libertarian, independent, or whatever. No more money to the RNC, until and unless the RNC wakes the hell up. Which I expect sometime in Neveruary.

Boehner looked like a total duffus in picture from White House meeting.. Maybe he was having a Chris Matthews thrill going up his leg from being invited to meet with the leader of the Communist party in the White House. Yes. Time for him to go for a permanent cigarette break.

Fire Boehner: We Only Need 16 Votes to Depose Boehner
If conservatives want to keep the House and win the Senate, we need to fire John Boehner as speaker of the House. We only need 16 House votes to do it.
. . . Everyone thinks it’s a fairytale, but the Conservative Movement is capable of firing Boehner with just 16 votes.
The House rules demand that a Speaker receive a majority—218 votes—to be elected speaker. If no nominee for speaker receives 218, the House remains speakerless—as it did during parts of the Civil War.
If 16 House Republicans were to abstain from voting for Speaker, Boehner would only receive 217 votes.
Once we depose Boehner and cause a firestorm, the Republican caucus will get the memo: Pick someone else! These 16 Republicans only need to hold out until the caucus chooses a new leader.

Group that wants to oust Boehner endorses Tom Price, Jeb Hensarling, Jim Jordan for Speaker/Leadership.— Alexis Levinson (@alexis_levinson) December 10, 2012
Conservative group American Majority Action (AMA) will endorse three conservative Republicans to replace current House GOP leadership later on Monday, Breitbart News has learned.
The group will endorse Republican Reps. Jeb Hensarling of Texas, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Tom Price of Georgia to replace House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Whip Kevin McCarthy. AMA has been pushing the #FireBoehner hashtag on Twitter and encouraging people to stand up against the Speaker for abandoning conservatism.
My concern is that within our conference, conservatives, who are a majority, don’t have a proper platform. That’s true at the leadership table and on the steering committee.

Congressman Price is not running for speaker. He is focused on real solutions to get America back on track. Those solutions reside in fundamental principles that embrace individual opportunity and economic freedom.

The only leadership position Congressman Hensarling plans to hold in the 113th Congress is chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.
